The weather was awful, and we’d walked far down the beach — there was no one else around, and probably wouldn’t have been until the next day. That’s when we spotted a turtle tangled up in lianas, trapped by the tide. They must’ve been stuck there for hours… it’s crazy to think we almost didn’t see them!
